What this tool does and doesn't do
It reads the barcode the licence carries and tells you what is encoded on it. That catches
typos, expired cards, the wrong class and restrictions that block over-the-road work.
The barcode is not digitally signed. A forgery where both the printed face and the barcode
were faked together will read as consistent. This is a first filter, never proof.
It is not an MVR, a PSP or a Clearinghouse query, and it says nothing about violations,
crashes or drug-test history. Those stay on your own accounts, under your own authority.
Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored. Decoding happens in your browser; close the tab
and it is gone.
