Carrier terms

What you agree to when you set up a driver application with Pay Per DOT.

1. You are the employer

Pay Per DOT provides an electronic driver-application tool and automated read-outs of what a driver submits. Your company is the prospective employer. Every hiring decision — to hire, to reject, or not to respond — is yours alone, at your sole discretion, and Pay Per DOT bears no responsibility for it.

2. You are authorised to represent this carrier

You confirm you are authorised to set up driver hiring for the company you register, and that you will not create a page for a company you do not represent. Registering a page branded as a carrier you are not authorised to act for is prohibited and may be unlawful.

3. Screening stays on your accounts

The following remain entirely your company's responsibility, run under your own accounts and your own permissible purpose. Pay Per DOT does not perform, order, pull, relay or store any of them:

4. What our read-outs are — and are not

The licence barcode read-out and the application signals describe the document the driver photographed and the information the driver submitted. They are not a consumer report, not a background check, and not a statement about the driver's character. A mismatch or a gap is a prompt to look closer, not a conclusion — and usually has an ordinary explanation.

5. Discrepancies found later are not our failure

If your own MVR, PSP, Clearinghouse or background check later contradicts what the driver reported, that is not a failure of delivery by Pay Per DOT. You retain full discretion to reject the driver; the application was still delivered.

6. Verification and going live

To publish an application under a company's brand, we verify that you confirmed from a company e-mail address and that the USDOT matches an active carrier in FMCSA. We may hold, decline or suspend any page we cannot verify, or that we believe misrepresents a carrier.
